According to Fandango, no April movie release has ever sold this many tickets in advance! Let’s face it – Winter Soldier is a summer blockbuster with a spring release.
The superhero sequel beat the record held by Fast Five back in 2011, and that movie went on to take in $86.2 million during its opening weekend.
What does this say for the film’s chances? There’s no limit on how much Cap can make!
