Cardi B Denies Being A Member Of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods After Tekashi 6ix9ine Snitches On Her!

Cardi B denies being in Nine Trey bloods.

Sorry to Tekashi 6ix9ine, but Cardi B says she is NOT affiliated with the NYC gang Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods after the 23-year-old rapper named her as a member during cross-examination.

As we reported, Tekashi is currently on trial after being indicted on charges of racketeering and firearm offenses stemming from his alleged participation in multiple shootings and armed robberies.

The performer pleaded guilty to the nine felony charges in February and admitted to being a member of Nine Trey. Now, he’s spilling all the gang-related tea, and Cardi’s name came up on Thursday.

According to TMZ, one of the attorneys asked Tekashi if he had copied the blueprint to the Grammy winner’s success by using gang members in his projects. Tekashi denied it, saying:

“I knew who she was. I didn’t pay attention.”

He added the songstress was affiliated with Nine Trey — but Cardi and her team insist he’s lying about that.

The 26-year-old rapper took to Twitter to confirm while she IS a Blood, specifically a member of the Brim Bloods set, she is not affiliated with 9 Trey. The since-deleted tweet read:

“You just said it yourself… Brin not 9 Trey. I never been 9 Trey or associated with them.”

Offset’s wife also denied the allegations on Instagram via the viral meme of Keke Palmer saying she has no idea who Dick Cheney is. The actress said in the captionless clip shared by Cardi:

“I hate to say it. I hope I don’t sound ridiculous. I don’t know who this man is. I mean, he could be walking down the street, I wouldn’t — I wouldn’t know a thing.”

Ha! Probably the best use of this meme we’ve seen so far!

A rep for Cardi also denied her affiliation with the gang, telling Billboard Tekashi’s claims were “not true.”

The Bodak Yellow singer previously revealed she’s a Blood in a 2018 interview with GQ, sharing:

“I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did. And something that — it’s not like, oh, you leave. You don’t leave.”

For his part, Tekashi admitted to joining the gang in the fall of 2017, hiring a fellow gang member to “shoot at” rap rival Chief Keef in June 2018 in order to “maintain or increase [his] own standing in Nine Trey,” robbing a rival at gunpoint with other gang members in April 2018, to helping attempt to kill another rival in March 2018, and to selling a kilo of heroin in 2017. He also testified rapper Jim Jones is a member of 9 Trey.

His charges carry a minimum sentence of 47 years in prison, but because he’s cooperating with authorities, he’ll likely receive a shorter sentence — which is expected to be handed down in January 2020.
