Cardi B is about to join a very select group of superstars!
Or, to be technically correct, she already joined that group — because she’s reportedly filmed this year’s iconic Pepsi commercial that will debut on national TV during the Super Bowl in early February, according to TMZ!

Celebs like Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Cindy Crawford, Pink, One Direction, Madonna, Mariah Carey, and The Spice Girls have all had the honor in the past.
The whole thing is iconic, with the commercial always getting a ton of attention that night AND a long afterlife beyond, so the fact that Cardi was chosen — especially after her lack of interest in performing at halftime of the big game in support of Colin Kaepernick — is especially noteworthy!!
Now she will be performing during SB53 weekend down in Atlanta; she’s reportedly set to put on a show with Bruno Mars before the big game that “will be the biggest party of the weekend.”
