Cardi B is making it known where she stands!
As we previously reported, the Dalai Lama is in some serious hot water after a clip resurfaced of him kissing a young boy on the mouth — and then asking him to “suck my tongue.” The 87-year-old spiritual leader, whose birth name is Tenzin Gyatso, has been facing mass criticism online — and the Bodak Yellow rapper has joined in the conversation, too!

On Monday, the 30-year-old took to Twitter to express her thoughts on the situation, writing:
“This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people wit money ,power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”

While she didn’t call out the Dalai Lama specifically, the timing is too perfect not to be in reference to him. And not, you know, all the youth pastors in the news for taking advantage of kids in their care.
The Up rapper’s response faced backlash from fans bringing up her past controversies — like how she admitted to drugging and stealing from men in her strip club days. But in true Cardi fashion, she slammed the people coming for her in her Instagram comments, saying:
“How are y’all bringing up a situation from my past when GROWN ASS DRUNK MEN were trying to take advantage of me and finesse me out my body because I said protect ya kids from predators? Like do y’all want them to get preyed on or something? …PROTECT OUR KIDS and let them know not to let anyone touch their private parts. Don’t let no one kiss them in their mouth. And always feel comfortable letting mommy and daddy know what happens. If you find a problem wit that then I’m side eyeing you.”
Ha! Damn!
Yeah, even if you think Cardi has some criminal activities in her past that make you question her ethical decision-making, we don’t know what the other side is to THIS statement. She literally is telling folks to keep their kids safe from all the predators hiding in plain sight out there. Like… no matter who is saying that, it’s true, right?
