Cardi B won’t stand for slander. Especially not from Elon Musk!
Over the weekend, the Be Careful rapper delivered a fired-up speech at a Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee after stumbling a bit due to nerves. In case you didn’t see, the 32-year-old told the excited audience:
“Sorry guys, I’m a little nervous. I’m a little nervous, guys. I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life.”

Of course, despite all the amazing things she had to say in her speech, the part that went viral among right-wing conservatives was her initial stumbling over her words… To the point where Elon accused her of being a “puppet” in the Harris campaign just trying to follow someone else’s script. *Collective eye-roll here*

On Saturday, the Tesla founder shared a clip from the moment on X (Twitter) and wrote:
“Another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words. The Kamala campaign has no authenticity or true empathy.”
But Cardi wasn’t about to have it! In response, she told him exactly how it is by speaking from her own experiences:
“I’m not a puppet Elon.. I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you….But you don’t know nothing about that. You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle….”
Bang bang! And for the final nail in the coffin, the mom-of-three referenced Elon’s disastrous takeover of the social media app:
“PS fix my algorithm”
