We don’t blame her!!
Carly Rae Jepsen was set to perform at the Boy Scouts of America National Scout Jamboree concert in Mount Hope, West Virginia this summer, but considering that they’re very closed minded when it comes to gay rights ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ she decided to cancel her appearance.
The Call Me, Maybe singer tweeted:
As an artist who believes in equality for all people, I will not be participating in the Boy Scouts of America Jamboree this summer…

The group Train was also going to perform at the summer concert, but after Carly dropped out of the lineup, they said the hell with the Boy Scouts… unless they change their anti-gay policy.
If you didn’t know already, the organization doesn’t allow openly gay men to be part of their crew, so we can understand why Miz Jepsen and Train don’t want anything to do with them.
These Boy Scouts really need to catch up with the rest of the world!!
