Charli XCX doesn’t want anything to do with drama!
While some of her fellow female artists are known for feuding as much as singing, the 23-year-old Brit thinks that most women in music support each other.
In an interview in Untitled magazine’s #GirlPower issue (whose cover you’ll EXCLUSIVELY see on PerezHilton), Charli compares today’s industry to that of her idol Debbie Harry, who rose to fame in the ’80s.
“[Debbie] was saying how… when she was performing at the peak of Blondie… you could really expect a girl to stab you in the back… I feel like the total opposite now… most women are really on that level of mutual respect and love for one another in their artistry.”
That’s good advice for Charli’s Fancy collaborator Iggy Azalea, who’s reportedly had beef with everyone from Azealia Banks to Britney Spears!

Not only does Charli support other female artists, she also supports positive body image!
“I love boobs! So I’m all for curvy bodies, and boobs and bums. They’re all great and feminine and amazing …. But I think any body shape is beautiful as long as it’s the right body shape for you, and the most comfortable and what makes you feel good.”
