From Venus to Wyclef, everyone seems to be designing goods for charity these days. And now, Charlize Theron has joined the ranks.
The beautiful South African actress has joined forces with Give and Take tees to design four limited-edition tees to benefit Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project, which works to improve the lives of South African youth, particularly those with a high chance of contracting HIV.
Working with Give and Take’s designer, Shea Mullen, Charlize created a vintage look for the tees which feature either the South African Baoaba tree with CTAOP’s motto, “Look Within, Think Beyond, And Reach Out,” or the CTAOP logo. The shirts are available in white, grey, pink, and orange, and are $50 each, with 50% of proceeds benefiitting the CTAOP.
Of the endeavor, Charlize said, “Give and Take is a socially responsible company and I’m thrilled to have their support. The kids that are being helped through my African Outreach Project are so incredible and vibrant. These t-shirts capture the spirit of South Africa and give everyone a way to help.”
The tees are available starting October 15th, but you can pre-order one now at giveandtaketees.com.
