Chelsea Handler did not hold back from poking fun at Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively during the 2025 Critics Choice Awards!
While hosting the award show at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Friday, the comedian — or the “DEI host” as she introduced herself — kicked off her opening monologue by joking about the ongoing legal drama between It Ends With Us co-stars. During the bit, Chelsea actually thanked them for the “distraction” they’ve provided for so many following a brutal start to the year, saying:
“I want to acknowledge that we’ve been through a lot lately, not just here in Los Angeles, but our entire country. Waking up every day not knowing what news we are going to hear that will disappoint or horrify us, it is so important in times like these to have a distraction, and that’s why I want to personally extend my gratitude to Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. Thank you for providing us with that distraction. I’m grateful, we’re all grateful.”

Many celebs in the audience couldn’t help but laugh, including Orlando Bloom! The cameras caught him smiling and chuckling at the joke! Chelsea then added:
“I think everybody in this room, no matter whose side you’re on, we can all agree to accept that there’s probably not gonna be a sequel. It ends with us, guys.”
LOLz!
It is a good thing neither Justin nor Blake were in the audience! Something tells us they both would not have appreciated the roast! Watch that part from the monologue (below):
