Chelsea Handler Cries In Inspirational, Emotional Post-Election Chat With Senator Barbara Boxer -- Will She Actually Leave The Country?!

no title
We don’t blame Chelsea Handler for getting emotional. After all, half the nation decided to elect an incompetent bigot over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday night’s presidential election.
But in these troubling times, the TV personality followed through with her Netflix talk show, inviting California Senator Barbara Boxer to discuss Donald Trump‘s upsetting political victory.

The blonde was visibly upset as she opened the segment, saying:

“Obviously the result is not what I was hoping for. Like a lot of people in this country, I’m sad, I’m disappointed and I’m confused. But if Hillary can make it through a concession speech, then I can make it through a stupid television show.”

The host then gave the floor to Miz Boxer, who discussed the severe sexism in politics she experienced back when she was running for office.
The 41-year-old asked the politician if she’d spoken to the former First Lady since her devastating loss, and Barbara began to get choked up as she responded:

“No. I did not want to speak with her at this point. I intend to actually sit down. I like to write. I have too much to say. And, I want to think about it.”

That’s when Chelsea got emotional as well, crying as she exclaimed:

“I know for a woman, as a woman it feels so sexist. I guess the message that I want to spread out to other women is exactly what you’re saying, is not to give up. Sorry, I hate f*cking crying on camera. But, is not to give up because this is so important. And, it’s so easy to say that we’re going to throw in the towel or ‘I’m going to move.'”

The fierce female had declared back in May that she had bought a house in Spain, with the intention of moving there if the Apprentice alum actually got elected.

However, she explained that she’s had a change of heart, saying it’s more important now than ever to stay and fight for what she believes in:

“I want to move to Spain. I really, really want to move to Spain right now. And everyone in my office is like, ‘You have a responsibility, you have a voice and you need to use it, and you have to be here.'”

Chels used her voice to discuss with Barbara a long-shot possibility, in which Hillary could actually end up as our future President after all.
She also encouraged her viewers to remain hopeful, even though all may feel lost right now.

Well said, Chelsea and Barbara. Thank you.
