Cher Files For Conservatorship Over ‘Gravely Disabled’ Son Elijah Blue Allman AGAIN!

Cher is seeking a conservatorship for her son again.

People reported on Friday that after being arrested twice last month, the 79-year-old singer filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to appoint a temporary conservator of Elijah Blue Allman’s estate, arguing he is allegedly  “gravely disabled” and drug-dependent. This comes almost three years after Cher filed for a temporary conservatorship, which she later dismissed after reaching a private agreement. She originally requested to be the sole conservator in 2023. But this time, she asked for fiduciary Jason Rubin to take on the role.

According to Cher, the conservatorship is necessary because Elijah’s life “has significantly deteriorated” since December 2023, when she first demanded the legal arrangement. And she didn’t hold back while exposing everything that had happened leading up to this moment! The documents say the 49-year-old is “currently in custody in the State of New Hampshire in a locked psychiatric hospital in an attempt to restore him to competency to face criminal charges in two cases across two New Hampshire counties for: felony burglary criminal mischief, simple assault, criminal trespass and breach of bail, but that is just the current set of problems.”

Che claimed Elijah “has no concept of money” and “is unable to manage his financial resources and is unable to withstand fraud or undue influence” due to his “severe mental health and addiction issues.” Whenever he gets any money, he allegedly spends it “immediately,” almost always on “drugs, expensive hotels and limousine transportation.”

The Believe artist went on to say that Elijah hasn’t paid “any income taxes”,” owing a whopping $200,000. He didn’t even show up in court after his estranged wife Marieangela King ordered him to pay spousal support, per the docs. Cher also claimed Elijah owed $18,000 to “a drug dealer who tracked him down,” and he had to borrow money “to avoid being harmed.” How scary!

Per the documents, Elijah is unaware “of consequences for the damage he caused at various Airbnbs where he had been staying; were it not for his friends and family cleaning up the financial and physical messes he made at those residences, he would have even more judgments against him.” He allegedly owed a $50,000 for a recent Airbnb stay. The filing continued:

“Elijah has no ability to manage money, and any dollar he receives from his father’s trust (his only source of income) is immediately squandered without regard for his liabilities or well-being.”

Cher also said there is “a clear pattern in Elijah’s behavior” whenever he receives a portion of his annual $120,000 trust payment, in which he “checks into a hotel, usually a luxury El Lay hotel, buys and does drugs until he runs out of money, ends up in the hospital or overdoses.” While there, he allegedly racks up “thousands of dollars in damages from cigarette burns in the rugs, beds, dressers, broken windows [and] walls.” He allegedly has “been thrown out of a total of 18 hotels because he has made guests feel uncomfortable [by] screaming obscenities and acting erratically.” Additionally, Cher claimed Elijah has been “exhibiting hyper-sexual behavior” and once “aggressively” pushed for sexual relations with a young maid at a hotel.

OMG!

And Cher isn’t finished! Elijah allegedly “was found in the middle of traffic passed out in his car” before “emergency services responded and transported him to the hospital, where he was administered Narcan.” Also, Cher claimed he repeatedly “caused grease fires while cooking after zoning out and forgetting that food was on the stove.”

Ultimately, the mom feels her son desperately needs a conservatorship when he returns home. A hearing about the filing will take place on April 24, days after Elijah is due in court for both of his legal cases.

Our hearts break for Cher. We can imagine all this hasn’t been easy for her…
