Cher‘s son found himself in trouble with the law.
According to TMZ on Saturday, Elijah Blue Allman, whom the legendary singer had with the late Greg Allman, was arrested this week for assault and trespassing at an elite prep school in Concord, New Hampshire. The Concord Police Department told the outlet that officers responded to St. Paul’s School for a report of an unwanted male guest right before 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The man, who was identified as Elijah, was in the dining hall “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently.”

He was charged with two counts of simple assault, and one count each of criminal trespass, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Merrimack County Jail, where he was processed and released on personal recognizance, meaning he didn’t have to pay bail. Elijah will have an arraignment date in the future.
At this time, it is unknown why the 49-year-old was at the school. TMZ sources don’t even know why he was there, especially since he’s primarily based in Southern California.
This comes months after Elijah was rushed to the hospital following an overdose. It’s also almost three years after Cher filed for a conservatorship over her son, claiming he was “substantially unable to manage his own financial resources due to severe mental health and substance abuse issues.” However, she dismissed her case weeks later after a judge denied her request for an immediate conservatorship.
