Chloe Sevigny Joins Cast Of Glee Producer's Salem Witch Trial Play

It has come to our attention that Chloe Sevigny is a busy gurl these days!
Not only is she starring in season 2 of American Horror Story, but she’s playing Abigail Williams in Glee producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa├óΓé¼╦£s newest play!
The supernatural suspense thriller follows Mz. Williams 10 years after she accused half of the women in her town of being in league with the devil during the infamous Salem witch trials. Here’s how sources describe the plot:

“Believing herself responsible for the deaths of 20 innocent people, Abigail is now living in Boston under an assumed name, caring for the sick, and struggling to atone for her sins ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ both the ones history remembers her for and the darker ones in her heart. When she starts to fall in love with a young sailor in her care, a chilling, diabolical figure from Abigail├óΓé¼Γäós past comes calling├óΓé¼┬ªand demands her soul as recompense for her crimes, sending the woman on one final, terror-filled quest for redemption back into the dark, haunted woods of Salem.”

OoOo! It sounds almost like a sequel to The Crucible and we’re definitely intrigued! Maybe we’ll check Abigail/1702 out when it premieres at New York Stage and Film this summer.
