Just days after Chris Brown was denied a visa into Australia for his domestic abuse against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, he took to Twitter to address the situation.
According to the singer, he wants the Aussie government to consider him as a spokesperson against domestic violence because he believes his story is a powerful teaching lesson for young kids. The father of one went on to argue that entertainers, not parents or public service announcements, is what’s truly influential on young minds. Umm, ok.

The other side of the situation, however, is that 63 women were killed in Australia from domestic abuse this past year. Allowing the rapper entry could be hurtful to the victims families and to the work Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is doing to fight the statistics.
We’ll be sure to update you once Australia makes their decision shortly. Breezy’s concert dates are coming up soon, after all!
Do YOU think Chris should be allowed entry?
