Another couple bites the dust!
Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have broken up! Multiple sources confirmed the heartbreaking news to People on Tuesday, but neither real estate agent nor their representatives have opted to comment on the breakup at this time. It’s still unclear what led to the sudden split.
The Netflix personalities first confirmed their romance just five months ago after they had been testing the waters in secret. Stause told the outlet in July:
“[We were] really private and secretive for as long as we could until we realized the walls were closing in. People were getting a little savvy to it.”
The All My Children alum admitted that she and her boss were hesitant to go public with their relationship for fear that public opinion might mess up the good vibe they had going on.

And Jason seemed equally smitten by his employee, telling the magazine that their friendship had “developed into an amazing relationship,” so it was only natural for them to take the next step. But now?! Bet they’re regretting stepping out of the friend zone! It’ll be interesting to see how the series handles the breakup, especially since the end of season 4 teased the next big storyline would be them getting together. Awkward timing!
As Perezcious readers know, Stause was just getting over her divorce from This Is Us lead Justin Hartley when she linked up with The Oppenheim Group co-owner, so we bet a breakup around the holidays (again) stinks for her!
