Lady GaGa & Christian Carino Are Chatting 'As Friends' Again But 'There Is Nothing Going On'

Apparently, ’tis the season to rekindle with your ex. Or at the very least, start talking to them again.

Per an Us Weekly source, Lady GaGa is friendly again with her former fiancé Christian Carino, whom she called it quits with in February 2019.

The insider revealed:

“Lady Gaga is talking to Christian again, but as friends. There is nothing going on there.”

The 33-year-old was first linked to the talent agent in February 2017, and they became engaged this past October. Although they are chatting again, GaGa is “not seriously ating anyone right now.” Previously, the Haus Laboratories founder was engaged to Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney, whom she began dating in 2011, but it was called off in 2016.

Following the split, things were relatively quiet from the songstress’ side, who didn’t speak out about the breakup until June. While performing her Jazz & Piano show in Las Vegas on Sunday night, the A Star Is Born actress briefly broke her silence, and shared with the Sin City crowd:

“Last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger, so it’ll be different this time.”

Things may be going smoothly now for the former couple, but there were reports of a Bad Romance in the months following the split. As we reported, a source spilled to Us Weekly that the Grammy Award winner was being “hounded” by her ex long after the breakup occurred:

“She’s been hounded by Christian. She told him not to contact her.”

Yikes!!

But things apparently weren’t going so well while they were still engaged, either. In March, an insider spoke out about the crooner’s public split which went down during the 2019 awards season (AKA when all the romance rumors were swirling about GaGa and Bradley Cooper):

“Chris didn’t treat GaGa very well toward the end of their [two-year] relationship.”

A second confidant divulged a bit more, revealing it was the Ally Campano portrayer who ultimately had to call things off with Carino:

“GaGa was the one who broke things off. He was jealous. He was trying to find her all the time and texted her a lot. Her friends didn’t like him either.”
