Wowsa! We thought it was just a separation.
Christina Aguilera just filed for divorce from her hubby of five years, Jordan Bratman, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The date of separation is listed as September 11, 2010 and there is a prenup in place.
According to the divorce petition, Christina asks that “Earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be considered separate property. She also wants to stop Jordan’s ability to get spousal support.
However, the two will share custody of their 2-year-old son, Max.
Rumors are swirling that the marriage fell apart after Christina cheated on Jordan, but her camp will not even dignify those reports with a response.
Sad.
