Coachella 2019: Ariana Grande Caps Off The Festival With A Surprise Guest -- Justin Bieber!

Don’t call it a comeback!
Justin Bieber made his triumphant return to performing live on Sunday night at Coachella, when Ariana Grande surprised everyone and brought the 25-year-old singer on stage to sing as part of her headlining performance to cap off an incredible second weekend out in the desert!
And fans just couldn’t get enough — especially after Bieber teased a new album was “coming soon.” Ahhhh!!!!!

The Biebs, who has been noticeably absent from live performances recently as he’s pulled himself back a bit from the stage (and the spotlight in general), was a major surprise for everyone — even Ari, who admitted to fans during the show that she hadn’t planned out his appearance.
ICYMI last night, here’s EVERYTHING you need to know about the Biebs’ triumphant return to the stage — and Ariana’s incredible talent for putting on a live show!

This Was ‘Not Planned At All’

Speaking to a shocked crowd in Indio last night, Grande admitted that the Sorry singer’s appearance was a spur of the moment thing (below):

“Coachella, I wasn’t gonna bring any guests out tonight, but my friend Justin Bieber came all the way out to spend some time with y’all, and we thought it might be fun to do something for you guys. This was not planned at all. Thank you for being here Justin, we love you so much.”

As you can see (below), the crowd went ABSOLUTELY CRAZY the moment she announced him:

Justin echoed those same sentiments, too — after he performed Sorry for the crowd, he admitted (below):

“I haven’t been on a stage in like two years. I had no idea I was gonna be on a stage tonight, absolutely no idea.”

The Canadian pop superstar even joked that he wouldn’t have “wore this fly outfit” had he known earlier on Sunday that he’d be taking the stage at Coachella. Ha!!!

Justin’s ‘Groove’ — And New Album!

Bieber hinted at the issues he’s been going through, too, acknowledging to the audience that he did this to get his “groove” back after a long hiatus (below):

“So anyways, this is my first time onstage in like two years. I had to get my groove back, I had to get my swag back, you know what I’m saying? Thank you so much, Coachella, thank you so much, Ariana Grande… And by the way… album coming soon.”

Nice! It really IS #Arichella this year! Ha!!
And that new album teaser, too?! YES!!! We figured something has been in the works, but OK!!!!
