Cody Simpson Says He's Working On A Collab With Miley Cyrus: 'It's Going To Be Cool... A Lot Of Guitar'

Are y’all ready for THIS collaboration, Perezcious readers?!

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are both accomplished musicians in their own right, but now that they’re getting hot and heavy together — and in such a public way, at that — what if they, ya know, made some magic happen in the studio, too?? It’s not as far-fetched as you might think, at least according to the hunky Australian!

Speaking to E! News at the 2019 GQ Men of the Year party in West Hollywood on Thursday night, the 22-year-old pop star from Down Under opened up about what it would take to get him and the former Hannah Montana icon to record some songs together. And by the sound of it, there’s apparently already something in the works between ’em — so maybe we actually won’t have to wait that long for new music here!!!

Simpson told the outlet (below):

“Yeah definitely. We’re looking at it. We are getting all the songs down and then seeing who would make sense for what. It’s going to be cool. It’s going to be pretty much a rock album. A lot of guitar.”

Whoa!!!

So it sounds like not only have they decided they would like to record some songs together, they’re also at least part of the way through working out how each one fits in the collab, and what kind of music they want to make. That’s fun!

BTW, Simpson also said he’s simultaneously working on some other new music of his own (below), so it sounds like this might be quite the busy time of year for the tall, lean heartthrob:

“Working on a project at the moment and recording throughout the holidays and should have an album out next year.”

Well then! We certainly have TWO things to look forward to now, don’t we?

Clearly, Cody and Miley have more than hit it off in the months they’ve been together since the Wrecking Ball singer’s split from Kaitlynn Carter, and it should be fascinating to see if these two can really make a collaboration work, and pull it off like they apparently believe is possible.
