A new relationship means another new tat for Miley Cyrus!
On Tuesday night, the Slide Away singer and her boyfriend Cody Simpson enlisted the help of celebrity tattoo artist Nico Bassill to add a pair of coordinating pieces to their ever-growing body art collection.

The happy couple debuted their new ink on social media, posing for separate black and white shots on Bassill’s Instagram Story.
Miley opted for a bleeding heart with a dagger stabbed through it with and a banner that reads, “ROCK N ROLL HEART.”

Impressive! It’s certainly got the whole punk rock feel to it, for sure. Cyrus loved the piece so much, she shared it on her IG story, too.
And take a look at Cody’s skull and crossbones line drawing, backed by the grim reaper’s signature scythe tattooed on his right chest (below):
If you’ve been keeping up, you know Billy Ray Cyrus‘ daughter’s gotten several tattoos since her split from Liam Hemsworth earlier this summer.
Right after she and the Hunger Games star called it quits, Mileybird added a line from the song The Thing, by late ’80s/early ’90s post-punk legends The Pixies to her left bicep. It says:
“My head was feeling scared, but my heart was feeling free”
When things began to heat up with her now ex-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, the Mother’s Daughter crooner got celeb ink artist Dr. Woo to place a copy of the Visconti of Milan coat of arms on her body, too. The dramatic piece was inspired by her romantic Italian getaway with Brody Jenner‘s former lady.

As you can probably tell from her most recent joint tattoo session with the 22-year-old, things are still going strong between Cyrus and her new man! They’re clearly not shying away from PDA and seem like they’re really enjoying each other’s company, too.
Simpson’s manager, Matt Zeidman, got real about it in a statement to People on Tuesday, acknowledging that while both his client and the Wrecking Ball singer certainly had more than their share of fun in years past when they were younger, times have changed now.
Zeidman said (below):
“It is early, but their friendship is long-standing and deeper than people realize. Though they originally met during their own wilder phases, they’re both sober now and are focused on health, work and spending time together. Seems pretty ideal to me.”
The singer-songwriter echoed these sentiments in a statement he shared while attending the Tiffany & Co. Men’s Launch last week. Cody opened up about his new romance with Cyrus, saying they “found each other again in a space where we’re both not partying” and “working real hard.”
The Australian performer also revealed he’ll be dropping a new song inspired by his lover this week — the same tune he wrote and sang for her after her surgery. He said:
“She was like, ‘If you don’t put this s**t out, I’m putting it out on your behalf for you. I’m getting your Spotify login and doing this s**t myself.'”
We’ll be waiting on that new track, Cody!
