Wow! Talk about modern family!
When Melissa Groves and her hubby Scott couldn’t get pregnant, they decided to go the difficult but rewarding route of adoption.

But little did they know how BIG their reward was going to be!
A young son was found for the Groves family pretty quickly, but there was a catch. Melissa writes:
“‘There is a sibling group of 5 but we need emergency placement of the younger 2 boys,’ the voice on the other end of the phone said. WAIT, WHAT?! TWO boys?! But we said only ONE! Instantly my excitement faded to disappointment.”
But they did adopt those two boys, and they fell in love so hard they just had to complete the set!
Not wanting to let them get separated into different homes, Melissa and Scott not only adopted the five older brothers, they even adopted the next child by the same mother!
Eight brothers! Oh brother!
Along with Melissa’s daughter from a previous relationship, they suddenly became a family of 11! There isn’t even sitcom about that! LOLz!
Melissa is just thankful for her fam. She says:
“For us, adoption was initially just a means to complete our family when having a biological child seemed impossible. But, it has become so much more to us. It has opened our eyes, widened the horizons of our family, enriched all of our lives, and brought us so much love and happiness.”
It’s too bad that there aren’t more people like the Groves family.
