There have recently been a handful of rumors swirling around the internet about Daddy Yankee possibly being gay, but now it looks like the reggaeton singer is trying to put the stories to rest once and for all!
It all began last month when multiple websites began reporting about his sexuality, but the Gasolina singer debunked the myths via Twitter, saying:
“The Internet is where the lie becomes truth and truth is a myth”
Things died down for a bit, however they quickly began to heat back up after a picture allegedly showing Daddy Yankee smooching with another man started spreading around the internet like wildfire!
Today, several spanish-speaking websites reported that the singer released a statement admitting to being gay and expressing regret for not being able to come out sooner.
Despite the photographic “evidence” fans remained skeptical and noticed some differences between the singer and the man in the picture. Now Daddy Yankee’s representative, Maya Nevares is also saying the reports are a bunch of bull poop!
The singer has yet to officially comment on the matter, but he has once again taken to Twitter, saying:
“Temo el d├â┬¡a en que la tecnolog├â┬¡a sobrepase nuestra humanidad “El mundo solo tendr├â┬í una generaci├â┬│n de idiotas” Albert Einstein.

For those of you who are a bit rusty on your spanish, the singer is borrowing a quote from Albert Einstein that says:
“I fear the day when technology overlaps our humanity. It will be then that the world will have permanent ensuing generations of idiots.”
It definitely sounds like Daddy Yankee has had enough with the rumors, and we can’t say that we blame him considering none of the reports are offering any concrete evidence!
Simply put, don’t believe in everything you hear.
