Archie Wants To Record Spanish Language Album

Since David Archuleta‘s second album The Other Side of Down comes out today, the Idol alum dishes about what’s next for him and how he’s embracing his Latinoliciousness by possibly recording an album in Spanish.
He said:

That [recording a Spanish-language album] is something that I would love to do. I mentioned it to my label and they├óΓé¼Γäóre excited about it. Half of my family is Hispanic. I want to show them my gratitude. I don├óΓé¼Γäót speak as much Spanish as I would like to. I still talk to my grandpa in Spanish. I want to immerse myself in that culture. One of the first songs I ever learned was a Selena song called ├óΓé¼┼ôComo La Flor.├óΓé¼┬¥ I grew up listening to and loving Selena’s music. We always had her playing. My mom is a huge fan of Gloria Estefan. I love La India. There are also some songs I like from Christian Castro, Luis Miguel and Luis Fonsi.

Love it, bb. Ain’t no shame in trying something new!
