David Guetta Talks New Album, Says He's Not Working With Brit Brit Or Madge

david guetta talks new album and collaborations

Too bad! Those could have been some A-MAZING collaborations!

During an interview on Wednesday, David Guetta opened up about his upcoming collaborations and double album.

Here’s what he had to say about his new album Nothing But the Beat, which is set for release in August:

“The challenge for me on this album was not to make another hit record. It was more the challenge of being creative and reinventing myself. I have a responsibility also for my fans to surprise them and always come with a futuristic sound, and this was also why it was so important for me to make this electronic album at the same time. I really wanted to surprise people.”

Guetta said that his album will feature a variety of guest artists, including Nicki Minaj, Taio Cruz, Lil Wayne,Usher, Chris Brown, will.i.am, Ludacris, Flo Rida, and Akon.

Here’s what David had to say about his Nicki Minaj collaboration:

“I am so proud of what she did on this record because we know her for those crazy raps but the other record that we have, she is singing like — oh man. The world is gonna be shocked. Because they don’t know her like this. And we came up with that amazing song and she just killed it.”

As for other collaborations, David said that he WON’T be working with Britney, Madonna, or U2, but he hopes to work with them one of these days.

We hope so too, David! And we’re excited for this new album! Def keep us updated!

Are U pumped for David Guetta’s upcoming album? Would U like to see him collab with Brit Brit and Madge?
