Demi Lovato Almost Left X Factor After Last Season! What Had Her Wanting To Bail?

Why would Demi Lovato ever want to leave us??
Well, it seems it was nothing personal but the X Factor judge did consider leaving the show after her first season last year because some of it was just too bumpy of a ride.
(Hmm.. is she talking about Simon Cowell‘s constant dramz? LOLz!)
Demi WILL be back this year, but it wasn’t without some major evaluating as she revealed:

“There was some hesitation only because I got so stressed out last year for the live shows because I am such a perfectionist and a control freak. I didn’t want to lose because I’m that girl that’s so competitive with people, and I didn’t want to lose to Simon especially it being my first year on the X Factor. Of course, I was out right away. I want to see new talent and I want to be a part of that journey again.”

Phew!
Considering we already lost Britney Spears, we don’t know what we would’ve done without our DemDem!
And it sounds like she doesn’t know what she would have done without the show in the first place. Not only has she been great for the show, the show’s been great for her as she revealed:

“I went back to TV, and it was worth it … I also did it because not only was it going to help me get through some mental things and some fears, but it also held me accountable to still be that light in other people’s eyes and an inspiration to people.”

And what an inspiration you are, girl!
From struggling through some seriously hard times to becoming a superstar judge on X Factor and releasing your FOURTH album, you’re on fire!
