Ever since Demi Lovato first announced her breakup from Wilmer Valderrama it’s seemed as though she’s been incapable of staying out of trouble.
Unfortunately for Lovatics, however, the former Disney Channel star is officially done being the center of drama… because Demi just announced a break from being a celebrity altogether!!!

That’s right — after controversies surrounding Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian West, and even some innocent mermaids, the 24-year-old decided to start a surprise hiatus on Tuesday!
Remaining positive, Demi shared the shocking news on Twitter, saying:
So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media 👋🏼

2017?!?!
We’re guessing that means she’s going to fulfill her current tour obligations before saying bye.
Of course, we can’t help but notice that Selena Gomez also just started her hiatus… but we’re sure that’s all just one big coincidence.
