Demi Lovato Forced To Sign Suicide Contract As A Child!

So much suicide talk this morning. Makes us very, very sad.
Not one to hide from reality, Demi Lovato has recently shared a very serious memory of hers — one that occurred when she was only seven years old!
According to her, the darkness that has overwhelmed her in the past didn’t just begin when she was introduced to celebrity. A survivor of bulimia and cutting, and a champion at owning bipolar disorder, Demi tells Rolling Stone:

“The principal called my parents and made me sign this suicide contract saying that I would not kill myself [when I had suicidal thoughts at age seven]. They weren├óΓé¼Γäót expecting that so young.”

Wow. We can’t even BEGIN to imagine!
But like we said, gurl is a SUR-VIV-OR! Not only has she successfully defeated her demons, she’s bravely keeping the issue as public as possible to battle the stigma behind mental illness.
