Demi Moore‘s daughter Tallulah Willis is clapping back at those Kylie Jenner snub rumors!
If you missed it, during Sunday night’s Golden Globes ceremony, a video of Demi totally ignoring the model went viral. Demi was caught up in conversation with Elle Fanning, who was seated beside Kylie. At one point, The Kardashians star tried to congratulate The Substance star, but she was seemingly ignored. When done with Elle, Demi skipped over Kylie to say hello to Timothée Chalamet before dashing away.

Oof! Kylie did NOT look happy about getting brushed off! But was she?
Demi’s daughter Tallulah shut down rumors of a snub in her Instagram Story on Monday, insisting it wasn’t what it seemed. She explained:
“We spent New Year with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do. This angel [her mom] was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers.”
This was soon after Demi took home the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. So, yeah, she was probably SO distracted! Tallulah continued:
“There was no snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!”
While we agree that Demi likely didn’t mean any harm by not really connecting with Kylie, you can’t really say she didn’t see her! We mean, Demi DOES turn to look at the Hulu personality very briefly after she wished her well. So, there WAS an exchange of sorts — just a seemingly very quick and tense one. BTW, Tallulah wasn’t even at the event when this went down so even she doesn’t really know what happened.
Giving Demi the benefit of the doubt, though, back in October, Kylie dressed as her character in Striptease for Halloween and Demi liked the post and reposted it to her own page. So, it’s doubtful there’s any real beef like some have speculated. It was just an awkward moment!
