Diddy Demands Feds Reveal The Names Of Victims Testifying Against Him -- Here's The Scary Reason They Might Say NO!

Diddy Demands Feds Reveal The Names Of Victims In His Sex Trafficking Case

Diddy’s latest demand? He wants every single name of the accusers in the criminal case against him. And he wants them now.

According to TMZ, the 54-year-old disgraced music mogul claims the federal prosecutors are hampering his ability to prepare to defend himself in the upcoming sex trafficking and racketeering trial next year. Why? Because they won’t reveal the identities of the anonymous victims in the indictment. Now, his legal team filed new documents on Tuesday asking a federal judge to order the US Attorney’s Office to disclose those names so he can address the accusation he “abused, threatened and coerced” women and others to fulfill his sexual desires.

Per the docs, Diddy believes if the names are released, there will be “voluminous evidence” that the encounters with the victims were consensual. Hmm. We’re not sure how that works… Is he thinking about trying to show video he secretly recorded of the encounters? Or is he going for that defense abusers often go with — proof that there was consent, love, etc. in the relationship, therefore everything that ever happened was consensual?

He does know one of the victims mentioned in the 14-page indictment. It references “Victim 1,” who is clearly Cassie Ventura. How do we know? Not only due to the allegations like the 2016 hotel incident mentioned in the document, but the rapper’s attorneys also referred to “Victim 1” as his ex-girlfriend. Maybe he’ll go with that defense for her — and wants to figure out what to say about the rest? His new request would reveal all the other accusers the federal prosecutors are using to build the case against him.

Part of the Diddy’s argument stems from the civil lawsuits attorney Tony Buzbee is filing against him. The specifically reference the six clients of Buzbee’s who filed lawsuits against the Bad Boy Records founder on Monday. In them, he was accused of sexual assault, threatening to kill some of the victims, and more. And as we mentioned, Buzbee is representing 120 people, so we expect more disturbing stories to come out soon. A lot more. As we previously reported earlier this month, the lawyer revealed he has 120 people planning to sue the record producer soon for several accusations, including: “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, sexual abuse of minors.” Some were already filed this week, and the details are horrific. Diddy’s team argues the federal case “has had a pervasive ripple effect, resulting in a torrent of allegations by unidentified complainants.”

In other words, he’s saying the anonymous allegations in the indictment are inspiring others to come forward. That’s probably true, but not how he means it. He’s implying they’re all lying, just jumping on the bandwagon to get some money out of him.

Now Diddy’s legal team wants the federal prosecutors to reveal the alleged victims coming forward, ostensibly so he can work on gathering proof that they’re all lying. However, per the new docs, the government refused to reveal the victims’ identities “at this stage.” Why not? Well…

The government has to disclose its evidence to the defense, but in certain cases they do keep witnesses’ identities secret as long as possible. Sound familiar? Maybe if you’ve seen a mob movie or two? Yeah. The feds may actually be worried about the safety of Diddy’s alleged victims if he knows who and where they are. Considering some of the allegations about Diddy, what he may or may not have had to do with Tupac and later with Kid Cudi‘s car being bombed? We can’t say we blame them.

Whether the judge will grant Diddy’s request, we’ll see. He hasn’t been getting his way so far, though… Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments below.
