Bow Wow didn’t have to say anything. He could have just said nothing. But that’s not why we’re here today! LOLz!!
The Let Me Hold You rapper went on the More To The Story podcast last Thursday and gave an interview to host Rocsi Diaz about his career in the music industry. And for a few days, the convo was mostly ignored right after it came out. But then, on Monday, fans started picking up something VERY curious from the long-form interview: how Bow Wow said at one point during the podcast that he missed going to Diddy‘s parties!!
Seriously?!
Diddy, of course, is in jail right now as he awaits trial on charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. Among the issues at play are contentions that all sorts of untoward s**t went down at some of the Bad Boy Records mogul’s parties. That includes supposed events labeled “freak offs” that allegedly involved sex workers and other people being made to perform all sorts of sex acts under duress and against their will.

But no matter how much keeps coming out about Diddy’s parties of all kinds, Bow Wow didn’t seem to care!! The 37-year-old Like Mike star told host Diaz this about how dead the party scene was after the BET Hip Hop Awards last week:
“Like, BET Award weekend, like the past two, it didn’t feel right. There was no motion, there was no parties. There was nowhere to go.”
Diaz quickly interrupted Bow Wow and noted the difference between Combs’ star-studded industry parties and the so-termed “freak offs” that he has been accused of orchestrating. The 42-year-old podcast host noted that both she and Bow Wow have been fixtures at Diddy’s celeb-studded industry parties in the past:
“For the record, I left before 1 [a.m.]! I never stayed! I’ve only been to two parties and I’ve never seen a freak-off!”
But the former child rapper wouldn’t be stopped! Claiming that there is now a “hole” in the industry without Sean Combs around to host parties, Bow Wow was frustrated! He told Diaz that he’d reached out to his longtime mentor, record producer Jermaine Dupri, about how there’s nothing going on lately:
“I said, ‘Jermaine, there’s no parties.’ You feel it. It’s like a hole. He was everything hip hop! So for that to die out, you just would have never thought.”

And then, as the podcast ep circulated further online in the last 48 hours, the Shortie Like Mine rapper began taking more and more heat from fans! Here are just a few of the reactions in which listeners dragged the rapper on X (Twitter) in the last day:
