Still mad Donald Glover‘s animated Deadpool series was canceled? Well, prepare to be devastated.
Because Stephen Glover says we actually would have gotten the Taylor Swift-centric episode his big bro referenced in the meta Deadpool script he shared on Twitter this week — if Marvel TV had let them make the show the way they wanted to.

The writer took to Twitter on Thursday morning and spoke about the now defunct project, revealing that the scrapped Swift storyline is what made the Glovers — along with FX — to “part ways” with Marvel on the project.
In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote:
“There really was a Taylor Swift episode. It was HILARIOUS. And it definitely was the last straw lol.”
OMG, what could have been!
Stephen also spoke to the buzzy dialogue in his brother’s script, in which Deadpool wondered if the show was scrapped because it was too “black.” He clarified:
“Our show wasn’t too black. It wasn’t really that black at all. But we definitely wanted to give ├óΓé¼╦£Rick and Morty’ a run for their money and I think we would have. Proud of the gang.”
In Donald’s meta 14-page script, the anti-hero asks out loud if the show was canceled because of “racism” — a nod to the “creative differences” reported as the reason the brothers decided to leave it.

Stephen admitted there were a few “pretty black” scenes while reminiscing with another writer, tweeting:
Yeah lmao. That was pretty black

Ha! Damn, now we want this show even more.
There are approximately 4 million Marvel shows on the air right now. There’s really no room for a black Deadpool?
