Although Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, and Childish Gambino AKA Donald Glover were the headliners at Coachella 2019, there was only one true star at the hip music festival…
HERPES!
According to TMZ on Thursday, HerpAlert — an online diagnosis and treatment website — saw an increase in STD cases during the first two days of the live extravaganza.

Per the website — where users can send NSFW images for clinical evaluation, and receive prescription treatment in just a couple hours — a whopping 1,105 cases were reported since the first day of the event.
Most of the individuals seeking prescriptions were reportedly located in Indio, Palm Desert, and Coachella Valley, as well as Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties where most of the concertgoers live.
Though the site typically services 12 cases a day in Southern California, during the first two days of Coachella, they evaluated almost 250 patients!
In an interesting twist, the last time the company saw such a huge spike was during Oscars weekend in 2018, when they got 60 cases a day.
Symptoms of the infection include blisters, ulcers, pain when urinating, cold sores, and vaginal discharge.
While there is no cure for the STD, it can be treated with medications and home remedies.
In happier news, the music festival was also a breeding ground for other viral moments!
On Sunday night of the second weekend, Justin Bieber triumphantly made his return to the stage by joining Grande.
Speaking to the shocked crowd, Grande admitted that the What Do You Mean? singer’s appearance was a spur of the moment thing:
“Coachella, I wasn’t gonna bring any guests out tonight, but my friend Justin Bieber came all the way out to spend some time with y’all, and we thought it might be fun to do something for you guys. This was not planned at all. Thank you for being here Justin, we love you so much.”
After he performed Sorry, JB admitted to the audience:
“I haven’t been on a stage in like two years. I had no idea I was gonna be on a stage tonight, absolutely no idea.”
The Canadian pop superstar even joked that he wouldn’t have “[worn] this fly outfit” had he known he was performing.
Now that he has his “groove back,” Bieber also announced that a new album is coming soon.
“So anyways, this is my first time onstage in like two years. I had to get my groove back, I had to get my swag back, you know what I’m saying? Thank you so much, Coachella, thank you so much, Ariana Grande… And by the way… album coming soon.”
Thoughts??
