According to Donald Trump, yes, Mitt Romney is joining him for dinner on Thursday at a New York fundraising event. According to Romney’s spokesman, however, the Republican presidential candidate will NOT be in attendance.
Oh boy. Is the Donald making up his own alternate reality again? LOL!
We don’t know who to believe, but just moments after Romney’s camp declared that he would not be meeting with Trump this week, the Apprentice star tweeted:
Looking forward to the “Dine with Mitt and Donald” this Thursday. Can’t wait to meet the lucky winner. @MittRomney

Umm…okay?
He’s talking about a fundraising dinner taking place at the Manhattan home of stock investor Martin Zweig, which will cost the 50 people attending $50,000 a plate.
We hope guests aren’t spending all that bank just to meet Romney because it doesn’t sound like he’s actually going. Spokesman Rick Gorka has said, “That won├óΓé¼Γäót be happening this week.”
At least we aren’t the only people who are confused about this. Even the organizers have no idea what’s going on! And if they do, they haven’t made any clarifications recently.
