Donald Trump is happy to see Stephen Colbert go!
Thursday night marked the end of The Late Show and Stephen’s late-night show career (for now, anyway). It comes as the President has been trying to cancel ALL of the late-night hosts, particularly the ones who have been strongly calling him out! And while CBS has claimed the decision was based only on financial issues, nobody’s buying that lame excuse!
But, unfortunately, unlike the way Jimmy Kimmel was able to bounce back after his brief suspension, there was no saving The Late Show. And at least one person in the world is thrilled about that.

In honor of the final episode, Trump totally TRASHED the comedian, blasting him on Truth Social:
“Colbert is finally finished at CBS. Amazing that he lasted so long! No talent, no ratings, no life. He was like a dead person. You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!”
Damn!
That’s HARSH AF!
It might also have stung a little for the spotlight-obsessed Celebrity Apprentice alum knowing that Colbert didn’t mention him once during the final ep! No free press for him!
Trump’s post was sent out at 1:52 a.m. EST, roughly an hour after the show concluded — so, it’s likely he stayed up to watch! LOLz!
