This is pretty low… even for Donald Trump!!
Late Sunday the President couldn’t resist any longer, and he decided to tweet out a particularly cutting shot at Amazon head Jeff Bezos — on the subject of his imminent divorce.

Jumping across a couple different topics to squeeze as much as he could into one single little tweet, Trump ended up with word vomit that looked like this (below):
So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post. Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!

Um… what?!
Did Trump actually just say the NATIONAL ENQUIRER is a more reliable news source than the Washington Post?? Because that’s the publication he’s referencing with “competitor,” and frankly, that’s one of the most ridiculous things he’s ever said.
(And yes, we know that’s a high bar.)
The Enquirer was the first to release Bezos’ leaked text messages to his purported new girlfriend, Good Day L.A. co-host Lauren Sanchez — and now, it’d seem Trump wants to gloat about that a little bit.
Sigh.
Just another day in the NEW Washington, D.C., we suppose…
