Just last week, we mentioned how Coach was suing Kmart after discovering the retail chain was selling merchandise resembling the company’s trademarked “C”s logo.
Coach argued that Kmart’s luggage was “found to be counterfeit merchandise,” with a “confusingly similar” design, quality, craftsmanship that “does not meet Coach’s high quality standards”.
And if that was the case with Coach, we have a feeling Dooney & Bourke might soon be opening a case of their own.
Though maybe not against Kmart alone, but against handbags by Attention.
Kmart is currently selling Attention handbags and wallets in zebra print. And the bags with the leather, burgundy handles look very similar to D&B’s collection.
The main difference?
D&B’s handbag collection, pictured in the above two images, range anywhere from $165 to $395, while the purses Kmart’s selling, last two images, don’t go for more than $20.
What do U think? Just a coincidence? Or a clear copy of Dooney & Bourke’s purses?
