Ariana Grande just had the OG Glinda baton passed to her!
In a clip from Thursday’s upcoming episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the host surprised the 31-year-old actress with an AMAZING prop from the ORIGINAL Wizard of Oz to really solidify her mark as our new Glinda! Any guesses??

In a clip shared on the show’s official Instagram account, Drew tells Ari:
“I have something that’s extremely exciting and special. It was owned by the Smithsonian and now it’s owned in private hands, but for the purposes of our sit down, they loaned it to us.”
Confused, the Thank U, Next singer asked Drew, “What are you talking about?” and audibly gasped as the daytime host revealed the surprise:
“Bring our the original Glinda wand, please.”
OMGGG!
Immediately, Ariana covered her mouth in awe as she appeared to fight back tears while a staff member brought out the 85-year-old wand. She asks Drew, “Are you serious right now?” as her eyes fill with tears.

As we know, Ariana plays Glinda in Wicked — which tells the story of how the Good Witch first met the Wicked Witch of the West. What an amazingly thoughtful thing Drew did!
