Deep breath, everyone!
As we reported, the internet went into full meltdown mode after Dustin Lance Black SLAMMED Sam Smith for thinking he was the first openly gay man to win an Oscar during his acceptance speech and called out the Stay With Me singer for texting his fiancé Tom Daley.
DANG! In case you forgot, Black won an Academy Award for his screenplay Milk back in 2009.

The Writing’s On The Wall artist has since apologized for his misinformed speech, but many fans were left unsatisfied as S.S. didn’t address his alleged texting sessions with the Olympic diver.
Well, it looks like their was nothing inappropriate going on as the Dustin has since taken to Twitter (again) to clarify his specific bit of shade. On Monday evening, he posted:
Dear Internet: @TomDaley1994 and @samsmithworld are pals. They text. Thus my surprise Sam took me for a closet case! Feel free to laugh.
