As we previously announced, Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black announced on Thursday morning that they were engaged in a simple announcement in The Times. Congratulations!
However, later that same day, the Olympic medalist and his beau took to Instagram to flaunt engagement rings. Faboosh!

We couldn’t be happier for the twosome and are totally obsessed with their stunning silver bands. Bravo!
Though there is a significant age gap between the 21-year-old and the 41-year-old, we think these two could make it past industry standards. In fact, it seems the diver’s momma agrees with us!
Following Tom and Dustin’s quiet announcement, Debbie Daley gushed about the couple’s upcoming nuptials and insisted that “age is but a number.” LOVES it!
We’re not entirely shocked by Miz Daley’s support of the attractive pair since the British athlete’s fianc├â┬⌐ is the American screenwriter and LGBT activist who won an Oscar for the 2008 film, Milk.
Color us impressed!
