You can bet your bum that THIS celebrated British actor will be watching The Hills: New Beginnings when it airs later this year!
In an interview with Rami Malek for W magazine, Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne confessed that he loves to watch “mindless reality TV” when he’s on the job, and has a particular fondness for a certain MTV series.

He dished:
“Particularly when I’m working, I find I can’t watch proper television. I have to watch just mindless reality TV. I’m quite excited because The Hills, which was my original reality TV guilty pleasure, is coming back.”
When the Mr. Robot star asked what The Hills is about, the Fantastic Beasts actor responded with a very accurate description of the series, explaining:
“The Hills is about various genetically beautiful, probably now aided potentially by cosmetic — I don’t know — just wandering around L.A., just chatting with each other. It starts with that Natasha Bedingfield song, which I didn’t buy the single of, but I might as well have.”
If that didn’t cement Redmayne’s superfan status, the fact that has a clear favorite in Team Lauren Conrad vs Team Heidi Montag did. He later admitted:
“I was quite into Heidi Montag, who I had a sort of love/hate relationship with.”
He gets it!
When the 36-year-old learned that Heidi and Spencer Pratt now have a child of their own, however, he grew a bit weary, wondering:
“Is the child on the reality TV show? Because I’m not sure about that bit.”
