Ellen DeGeneres has scared Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet so many times, it’s basically impossible for her to get past his defenses… or so he thought!

First, the daytime queen ran a supercut of his best scares. Then she dedicated the scare table to him, with a little plaque and everything.

Of course, to show him she had to open it, proving there was no one inside!

And yet… Well, watch for yourself (below)!

Yep! She built a tunnel into that table!

After the scare, Eric looks into the box again and confirms, there is a secret tunnel under the stage! So some PA dressed as Jesse Tyler Ferguson had to crawl into that thing to jump out at the exact right moment!

Such an evil genius…

Speaking of which, they played a game afterward, and out of nowhere Ellen got Cam AGAIN!!!
