April showers bring May weddings! That’s how the saying goes, right?!
Elton John and David Furnish are finally going to say ‘I do!’ this May!
The longtime partners will be getting married in England, now that it’s legal, even though they’ve already been civil partners in the country for eight years.
However, the Tiny Dancer won’t be having any lavish kind of soiree. He and David both talked about it, with Elton explaining:
“We don├óΓé¼Γäót feel the need to take an extra step legally. But since we├óΓé¼Γäóre committed for life, we feel it├óΓé¼Γäós really important to take that step, and take advantage of that amazing change in legislation. We all live by example.”
Aww! That’s sweet! And Mr. Furnish revealed more of their plans, saying:
“I think what we├óΓé¼Γäóll do is go to a registry office in England in May, and take the boys with us, and a couple of witnesses.├óΓé¼┬¥
How fun! We’re sure three-year-old Zachary and 16-month-old Elijah would be honored to be in their dads’ ceremony!
