When going to these glam and gorge award shows, stars run the risk of looking like they’re going to prom.

And Alyson Hannigan looks ready to take home the prom queen sash and tiara in this Marchesa gown, despite actually being at the 2013 Emmy Awards!

Decked out in a satin, purple strapless gown, we love her glowing smile, but we’re just not loving this old school look that wouldn’t flatter anyone’s figure.

On the bright side, at least Alyson knows she could totes blend in at any high school prom!
