Emmy competition is growing stiffer than one of Amanda Bynes’ drive time cocktails!!
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences just announced a few category mergers. Effective 2013, lead and supporting actors will be competing for the same awards in the Best Movie and Best Miniseries categories!
By our calculations — carry the two… never divide by zero — there will be FOUR less awards to hand out!!
Hmmm.
We wonder whether this rule will be retroactive!
Kate Winslet and Maggie Smith both won last year for their involvement in Mildred Pierce an Downton Abbey, respectively.
Do U think those classy broads should mud-wrestle each other to determine who keeps that coveted trophy?? LOLz!
