What didn’t happen last night?
On January 7, 2015, Empire took over pop culture and became one of the most watched shows in history!
Now, almost a year later, most of that charm has worn off and the hit FOX drama is trying to up the ante by throwing whatever it can at the wall to see what sticks.
Wednesday night marked the show’s first ever mid-season finale, and with it came practically too much drama to handle.

Not only did Taraji P. Henson‘s Cookie return to jail — to perform for her former cellmates — Yazz‘s Hakeem voted against Terrence Howard‘s Lucious so he’s now out of a job, and on top of all that and Naomi Campbell‘s Camilla finally returned to stir things up!
But in the most intense scene of all Kaitlin Doubleday‘s very pregnant Rhonda was pushed down the stairs by a mysterious assailant!
We’re still loving the show, but if Rhonda or her baby die we will riot.
Unfortunately, Empire isn’t coming back for another four months, but make sure to catch the Lyon family when they get back in action Wednesday, March 30 at 9 p.m. EST on FOX!
