There have been reports Eric Jr. had turned to drugs amid stress of his father’s ignominy. Now we know his death was officially ruled an accidental overdose — and what kind of drugs he was on.
Eric Sr. posted to Facebook and Twitter Thursday afternoon:
Just received some tragic news from Coroner in Colorado. Eric Chase’s passing has been ruled an accidental overdose that included opioids 1/

This revelation comes just hours after Donald Trump‘s declaration that the opioid crisis is a public health emergency.
