Fall Out Boy Tackles Domestic Violence In Nightmarish Music Video For Young And Menace!

If you’ve ever wanted a dark retelling of Where The Wild Things Are, we have the music video for you.
On Thursday, Fall Out Boy dropped the first music video from their upcoming seventh album, Mania (out September 15). The vid is for their ominous new song, Young And Menace, and it tackles themes of domestic violence — with a rather odd inspiration.
According to Pete Wentz, this visual project was inspired by the movie Elf — which were having a hard time believing since we can’t imagine Will Ferrell playing an abusive unicorn-llama.

Regardless, the video is certainly a bizarre one to watch… and we think that’s the whole point. We mean, why else would the group sample Britney SpearsOops! ├óΓé¼┬ª I Did It Again in the chorus of such a dark and twisted song if they weren’t trying to make something abstract??
Be sure to ch-ch-check out the video for yourself (above)!
