Was the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni drama predicted years ago… by Clifford the Big Red Dog? That is what many fans are pointing out now after a video from the show has gone viral online!
On Monday, @cake_n_tyla posted a clip from a February 2020 episode of the children’s series titled Lights, Camera, Clifford! to TikTok that has eerie similarities to the ongoing dispute between the It Ends With Us co-stars. In the episode, one character named Samantha Mulberry decides to direct a movie starring her friends and Clifford. However, one pal, Emily Elizabeth, takes over the whole project, upsetting Sam. The social media user shared a video of the scene in which Emily and Samantha have a heart-to-heart about the situation. In it, Emily asks her friend:
“Oh no, Sam, are you okay?”

To which she responds:
“I’m just… I mean, I’m the director. I had everything planned out for my movie, and well you sort of just took over.”
Does this seem familiar to anyone else? It sounds a lot like what Justin says happened while working on It Ends With Us with Blake, right?! As you most likely will recall, the filmmaker claimed she and Ryan Reynolds took control of the whole movie. The married couple allegedly hired their own editor to work on the film, resulting in two versions. One was created by Justin, and the other by Blake and Ryan. Although Justin’s rendition of It Ends With Us reportedly tested “significantly higher” than Blake’s, everyone saw her edit instead.
The Clifford The Big Red Dog episode ended in both the friends working things out, with Emily saying:
“You’re right. I did take over. I’m sorry. And you know, Sam, I am not a very good director.”
Unfortunately, the situation between Blake and Justin is not that simple! They’re embroiled in a nasty legal battle that will likely head to trial next year! But as the social media user pointed out, if the actress had seen the Clifford episode, things could have turned out differently. They captioned the post:
“POV: If Blake Lively watched this episode of Clifford she could have saved 400M!”
Who knows?! What we do know, however, is that fans are freaking out in the comments section because of how “scarily accurate” this old episode of the show is to parts of the IEWU drama!
