Since returning to El Lay from Boston after her prison sentencing, Felicity Huffman is doing her best to get things back to normal, including her family life.

ICYMI, the 56-year-old was recently sentenced to 14 days in prison, along with 250 hours of community service, a $30,000 fine, and supervised release for a year following jail for her participation in the “Operation Varsity Blues” scandal.

An insider close to Felicity and William H. Macy shared with People:

“The family is hanging in there, spending time together and doing their best to heal. Felicity is getting everyone together, so they can spend time talking, and healing with each other.”

Realizing her sentence could have been worse, Miz Huffman feels “humbled,” the source added:

“The sentence Felicity received is not about a victory or a defeat. She is not disappointed or relieved about the outcome. She is contrite and humbled and accepts the outcome. She is resigned to the fact that she has to serve her sentence and pay her dues to society.”

The TV actress has just over a month before she needs to report to prison, and we can imagine the Macys will still have a long road ahead even after she gets released!!

And as for Lori Loughlin, she’s apparently feeling incredibly panicked by the whole thing as she awaits her own verdict. It seems to have given her a dose of reality, a source told ET following Huffman’s sentencing:

“Lori has kept a close eye on Felicity throughout the case and after hearing her 14-day sentence, she’s been incredibly panicked. She can’t help thinking, if Felicity received real prison time, what could that mean for her?”

Well it could mean a lot of things, like more jail time! Unlike the Desperate Housewives star, Lori and fashion designer hubby Mossimo Giannulli pled not guilty and had additional charges tacked on because of their alleged crimes. The insider spills:

“Lori didn’t believe Felicity should have pleaded guilty but now watching her situation play out, she’s been in fear of what’s to come for her. Right now, her friends fear the prosecution wants to make an example out of her, not only for the crime she’s been accused of, but her not guilty plea.”

According to the confidant, the thought of going to jail is so bad for the former Full House star that it’s giving her nightmares:

“Lori has confided in friends that she has nightmares about what’s to come and has been living with constant anxiety. Lori chose a very different path than Felicity and felt taking a deal was a mistake. She doesn’t believe she deserves jail time.”

But it’s not just her! Like Huffman’s family, it’s unsurprising Loughlin’s clan is reportedly also struggling as the source explains

“Lori and her husband worked hard this summer to hold their family together, but it’s been very rough.”
