2016 took quite a toll on the Foo Fighters.
So much that Dave Grohl and co. appear to have aged DECADES in the video for their surprise new single Run!
The rock group caught fans off guard this week by dropping a brand new song, taking it back to their heavy metal roots with ear-pounding sledge hammer riffs and savage shredding.

But the band dons a more *mature* look in the music video, which shows them as prosthetic-laden senior citizens who spark an uprising in an oppressed nursing home with the power of rock!
Forget the cuckoo’s nest, these elders completely fly over their rockers — along with moshing, rioting, and battling Nurse Ratched-esque authority figures with their canes!
